Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, Andriy Yermak, met with members of the British Parliament from the opposition Labour Party: Shadow Defence Secretary John Healey and Shadow Foreign Secretary David Lammy.

Andriy Yermak briefed them on the situation on the front lines, particularly in the Kharkiv region. He emphasized that Ukraine critically needs F-16 fighters, long-range artillery, and air defense systems to stabilize the situation.

"We are grateful to Great Britain for unprecedented assistance. You are not just partners, but truly close friends. Ukraine greatly values that the United Kingdom became the first country with which a bilateral security agreement was signed. Our victory is possible if there is success on the battlefield and in diplomacy. And now is the time for strong decisions," he said.

The Head of the Office of the President also discussed preparations for the Global Peace Summit, which will take place in Switzerland on June 15-16, emphasizing the need for the widest possible participation of states.

The British Shadow Secretaries noted that they came to express support for Ukraine from the Labour Party.

"The Labour Party's support for Ukraine is unwavering. Changes may occur in the government of Great Britain this year, but the United Kingdom's determination to support Ukraine will not change. Labour fully supports strengthening assistance to Ukraine from Great Britain this year and in the years to come," said David Lammy and John Healey.
