A Ukrainian audio guide has been launched at the Kunsthalle – the Hamburg Art Gallery.
This was announced by Ukraine’s First Lady, Olena Zelenska.
“Our project to introduce Ukrainian audio guides at leading landmarks around the world is all about preserving our identity. And the fact that today, at this outstanding place, the Kunsthalle, Ukrainian is being heard – this is not just a convenience for Ukrainian visitors. It is a manifestation of solidarity and support, which we deeply appreciate,” said the President's wife in a video message to gallery visitors.
She thanked the Ukrainian Consulate General in Hamburg for their help in implementing the project, the director of Kunsthalle, Professor Alexander Klyar, and his team for supporting the idea, as well as all the volunteers from the Ukrainian community in Hamburg who worked on the translation and voiceover of the tour.
This is the 97th Ukrainian audio guide among those functioning in museums and galleries in 52 countries. The project is being implemented by Ukrainian embassies and consulates under the patronage of Ukraine's First Lady.
“I hope, like all other guides in the project, this one will contribute to mutual understanding and a common language – for both Ukrainians and the countries that have sheltered them,” concluded Olena Zelenska.
