Ukraine’s air defence forces shot down 89 out of 104 Russian drones.
From 19:00 on Friday, 21 November, Russia launched an attack on Ukraine using one Iskander-M ballistic missile from temporarily occupied Crimea and 104 attack UAVs — Shahed, “Herbera,” and other types — from the following directions: Orel, Bryansk, Shatalovo, Millerovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk (Russia), Chauda (Crimea), and temporarily occupied Donetsk. Around 65 of the UAVs were Shaheds.
The air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile units, electronic warfare units, UAV system units, and mobile fire groups of Ukraine’s Defence Forces.
According to preliminary data as of 09:00 on Saturday, 22 November, air defence forces shot down or suppressed 89 drones over northern, southern and eastern Ukraine.
There were confirmed impacts from 13 attack UAVs at 15 locations, as well as one ballistic missile strike at a separate location.
