Russian forces attacked densely populated areas of Odessa with three ballistic missiles Iskander-M overnight.
This was reported by the spokesperson of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Ilya Yevlash, during a telethon broadcast.
As Yevlash pointed out, the Russian forces has now chosen Odessa as a key target. Previously, Russian forces have been and continue to strike, including in Kharkiv.
"Now he (the enemy) has attacked densely populated areas of Odessa with three ballistic missiles 'Iskander-M.' As a result, there are casualties and injured people," said the spokesperson of the Air Force.
As reported earlier, around half past eleven on the night of April 30, explosions were heard in Odessa during an air raid alert.
Approximately fifteen minutes later, there were subsequent explosions in the city. Later, the local authorities stated that three people were killed and three others were injured in Odessa due to Russian missile strikes. In particular, the head of the regional military administration, Oleg Kiper, said that there is damage to civilian infrastructure in the city.
