Overnight on September 23 (from 21:00 on September 22), Russian forces launched three Iskander-M/KN-23 ballistic missiles and 115 strike drones—including Shahed, Gerbera, and other types—toward Ukraine from the directions of Kursk, Orel, Millerovo, Shatalovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk (Russia), and Hvardiiske (temporarily occupied Crimea), with around 60 being Shahed drones.
Ukrainian air forces, surface-to-air missile units, electronic warfare units, drone defense teams, and mobile fire groups repelled the attacks.
As of 09:00, air defense systems had intercepted or neutralized 103 drones of the Shahed, Gerbera, and other types across northern, southern, and eastern Ukraine.
Impact points from missiles and 12 strike drones were recorded at six locations, with debris from downed drones falling across eight additional sites.
