In the three years of full-scale war, Russia has launched 67,000 guided aerial bombs, thousands of various types of missiles, and 22,400 Shahed strike drones at Ukraine.

The Ukrainian Air Force shared this information.

"Over the three years of war, with daily air defense battles, the Air Force has practically exhausted the missile resources of Soviet-era air defense systems. Now our troops are primarily relying on support from our partners, specifically the continued supply of Western systems and, most importantly, missiles for them, to strengthen Ukraine's air defense."

Ukrainian soldiers have proven that they can quickly master Patriot, F-16, NASAMS, and other technological weaponry, and most importantly, effectively use them against the "second army" of the world.

Since February 24, 2022, the Ukrainian Air Force, together with the air defense of the Ukrainian Defense Forces, has downed:

  • 2,496 cruise missiles;

  • 465 guided aerial missiles;

  • 97 ballistic missiles;

  • 40 air-launched ballistic missiles Kh-47M2 "Kinzhal";

  • 17,575 Shahed strike drones.

The Air Force emphasizes that the lion's share of these downed targets is thanks to the delivery of modern surface-to-air missile systems and missiles for them from our partners!

The Air Force of the Ukrainian Armed Forces reminded that the next Ramstein meeting is currently taking place in Brussels.

"We thank our allies for their support and are expecting good news!" — the message concludes.
