During the night of November 2 (starting from 7:00 p.m. on November 1), Russian forces launched two Iskander-M ballistic missiles from the Bryansk region and 79 attack drones of various types — including Shahed, Gerbera, and others — from several directions: Kursk, Millerovo, Oryol, and Primorsko-Akhtarsk in Russia. About 50 of the drones were Shaheds.
The air assault was repelled by Ukraine’s Air Force, air defense missile units, electronic warfare and drone system divisions, and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
According to preliminary data as of 9:00 a.m., air defense units shot down or suppressed 67 drones — including Shahed, Gerbera, and other types — over the northern, southern, and eastern regions of the country.
One ballistic missile and 12 attack drones hit six locations, while debris from downed targets fell in two additional areas.
