Advisor to the Office of the President of Ukraine Aleksey Arestovich said that the Ukrainian army is conducting counter-offensive operations in two directions.
He said this in a conversation with Russian human rights activist Mark Feygin.
According to him, "the inability of the Russian army to attack and the ability of the Ukrainian counteroffensive" have now come together.
âWe are already conducting counter-offensive operations in two places simultaneously. East is not instead of south. Both east and south. And everything continues. And, of course, the Russian command is confused. Why in two places? Because we do not allow them to maneuver with reserves, to strengthen another at the expense of one direction," Arestovich added.
The adviser to the Office of the President does not believe that Russia will yet be able to seize the strategic initiative in this war. According to him, it is exhausting.
He also said that in one of the cities there was a "strong trouble for the Russian troops." He did not voice the city's name, since the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine should do this first.
"They ran far to the east, very far away," he said.
