The first stage of the offensive of the Russian troops has already begun in the Donbass, reinforcements are expected to arrive for the second stage.

Aleksey Arestovich, Advisor to the Head of the President's Office, spoke about this in an interview with Mark Feigin.

Arestovich said that the Russian Federation will try to carry out an offensive simultaneously from the north and from the south.

"Now everyone is waiting for the second echelon. And the second echelon: these are 10 BTGs (battalion tactical groups) that come from the Far East, the last, the 5th Army; and those who were withdrawn from the north from us - from Kyiv, Chernihiv and Sumy," he said.

At the same time, according to Arestovich, reinforcements from the Far East have not yet reached the offensive positions. And the troops have been withdrawn from the north, not yet ready for the offensive.

Earlier, Aleksey Arestovich, adviser to the head of the President's Office, said that heavy fighting would take place in the Donbas over the next two weeks, determining the fate of the next phase of the war. In addition, the invaders stepped up their efforts in the direction of Zaporizhzhia and Kherson.

Adviser to the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Vadim Denisenko believes that the Russian invaders may try to storm Kyiv a second time, and an attack on Odessa cannot be ruled out as another enemy target.
