The Ukrainian military launched a missile attack on the base of Wagner PMC mercenaries, which caused them to suffer heavy losses.

Russian propaganda telegram channels were the first to report this, informing that the Armed Forces of Ukraine allegedly used the HIMARS MLRS to attack Popasna (Luhansk region).

At the same time, information also appeared that the Russian oligarch and the creator of the Wagner PMC, Yevgeny Prigozhin, could be on the spot, but propagandists do not confirm this information. However, it is interesting that he has not been seen since leaving on a business trip.

Meanwhile, Ukrainian blogger Denis Kazansky drew attention to the fact that a few days before the strike, another Russian “war correspondent” visited the site, took a number of photos there and posted them on his Telegram channel. Thus, he revealed the location of the Wagner base, which allowed the Armed Forces to deliver an accurate strike.

The number of casualties among the mercenaries is not reported, but eyewitnesses report that the dead and wounded continue to be pulled out from under the rubble.
