The Army of Drones project received 472 drones, some already used at the front.
This was announced by the Minister of Digital Transformation of Ukraine, Mykhailo Fedorov in Telegram.
âThe Army of Drones received 472 drones. Since the drones come to us in batches, it is difficult to show what they look like all together,â Fedorov said.
According to him, part of the drones are already performing combat missions at the front.
On July 1, the Ministry of Digital Transformation, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and the UNITED24 platform announced a fee for the Army of Drones project. Its goal is to acquire reconnaissance drones covering the entire front line with a width of about 2,470 km.
Such drones can fly up to 24 hours at a distance of 160 km and at the same time remain almost invisible to the enemy eye. They are equipped with several cameras, thermal imagers, position sensors, and software. They are difficult to notice and much more difficult to shoot down.
