On September 23, the enemy attacked Odessa with kamikaze drones from the Black Sea. Two drones destroyed the administrative building in the port area, killing a civilian. Another Iranian kamikaze drone Shahed 136 (Shahid-136) was shot down by the Armed Forces of Ukraine. It is known about four damaged houses.
In Odessa, it became known about a man who suffered from an attack by enemy kamikaze drones. This was announced by the head of the Odessa Regional State Administration, Maxim Marchenko.
"Today, the enemy attacked Odessa with a Shahed-136 kamikaze drone. Unfortunately, one person died, one was wounded, and the administrative building was destroyed. Subsequently, the enemy made another attack with drones that were shot down over the Black Sea by our air defense units," Marchenko said.
He added that the invaders are increasingly using drones in neighboring Ukraine regions. Marchenko asked people not to stand outside during the air raid and not to watch where the drone was flying, but to hide in shelters. The head of the MA emphasized that the radius of destruction of such drones is quite large.
The public relations service of the air command "South" reported that only in the period from 17:00 to 18:00 the air defense fources shot down four enemy's kamikaze drone Shahed-136 of Iranian production.
With these drones, the Russian occupation troops tried to attack Odessa.
