Canada will deliver a substantial batch of CRV-7 rocket engines to Ukraine, along with 1,300 warheads.

This was announced by Canadian Defence Minister Bill Blair during a meeting of the Ukraine Defense Contact Group in the Ramstein format.

The shipment will include 80,840 CRV-7 rocket engines and 1,300 warheads, which are set to be sent to Poland in the coming months.

Previously, the CRV-7 rocket engines were used by the Canadian Air Force on CF-18 fighter jets but have since been retired.

Canada will also transfer 970 C6 machine guns and 10,500 9mm pistols from its stockpiles.

In response to Ukraine’s request, Blair also announced that Canada will provide retired chassis from 29 M113s and 64 Coyote LAV armored vehicles. These will be repurposed or used for spare parts in Ukraine.

Since 2022, Canada has committed $4.5 billion in military assistance to Ukraine. Canada will continue to support Ukraine until its victory.
