The concert will take place at the Lviv National Opera on February 22, 2023.
The Lviv National Opera will perform a requiem concert, "Memory of the Invincibles," on the anniversary of the full-scale war. Canadian musician Keri-Lynn Wilson will be the conductor. This was announced on the institution's Facebook page.
"For a year now, we have been fighting side by side, each on our own front. The world artistic community has demonstrated unity and support in our desire to defend our own cultural identity and independence. Musicians from all corners of Ukraine were invited to various projects and concerts of solidarity with the Ukrainian nation in the struggle against racism," the post says.
Keri-Lynn Wilson is a Canadian conductor of the opera and symphonic repertoire.
Two works will be performed in the concert programme - Verdi's "Requiem" and "Bucha. Lacrimosa" by Victoria Poleva.
