The Chamber of Deputies of Czechia has named the current Russian regime as the greatest threat to the security of the Czech Republic. Additionally, Prague considers Moscow to be a terrorist regime.

"The Czech interests are an independent, democratic, and free Ukraine, firmly anchored in international structures," the resolution adopted at the end of the extraordinary session on security threats states.
The Chamber of Deputies also supported the continuation of aid to Ukraine, which has been facing Russian military aggression for the third year, including the supply of military equipment.
The coalition proposal was adopted as a result of voting by 84 MPs exclusively from the coalition. At least 72 votes were required for its adoption.
"The current terrorist regime in Russia, with its expansionism and attempts to extend its sphere of influence to Ukraine and other European countries, accompanied by military crimes, poses the greatest threat to the security of Czechia," the resolution states.
It is emphasized that it is in the interests of the Czech Republic for the war of the Russian dictator Vladimir Putin against Ukraine not to succeed, and for Ukraine to defend itself and restore its territorial integrity within its internationally recognized borders, and for the Russian regime to be effectively restrained from further aggression against Europe.
According to the Chamber of Deputies, to maintain the security interests of Czechia, it is necessary to continue providing assistance to Ukraine.
"On the contrary, the cessation of military supplies will lead to the conquest and devastation of Ukraine by the Russian terrorist regime and will encourage this regime to further attacks against European states," the resolution states.
