Borodyanka is another city in the Kyiv region that was liberated from Russian occupation. It is known that currently, there is the largest number of human casualties. More than in Bucha. Adviser to the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Vadym Denysenko stated on the telethon that many people may have died under the rubble of high-rise buildings because people were hiding in the basements of these buildings.

According to UAnimals, dogs have been left without food and water in the enclosures of the local animal shelter since the beginning of the war. The shelter's management has not been there all this time, and they did not take part in rescuing the animals. 335 dogs died of hunger and thirst. Only 150 survived, 27 of whom were taken to private clinics for treatment. Volunteers help animals.
