Ukraine can win the war against Russia within the next three years by increasing the volume of military production for the Armed Forces and imposing the prospect of unbearable exhaustion on Russia. This information comes the Ministry of Defense of Estonia.
"In 1989, the fall of the Berlin Wall paved the way for a Europe ‘whole, free, and at peace’ – a vision set forth by President George H. W. Bush a few months earlier. The prospect that had been denied to generations before has thereafter evolved into the greatest success story for hundreds of millions of Europeans. Today, this very aspiration is at stake in Ukraine," the statement reads.
The Estonian Ministry of Defense emphasizes that falling into a state of despair is easy, given that Russia continues its brutal war for the second year, its desire to inflict and sustain destruction appears endless, and its military resources seem boundless.
Defeating Russia is achievable
The Estonian Defense Ministry stresses that victory for Ukraine and defeat for Russia in this war are attainable goals. They point out that this war can be won within the next three years or less by adjusting and increasing the volumes of military production from the Euro-Atlantic community and aiding Ukraine, as well as imposing the prospect of unbearable exhaustion on Russia.
"A renewed strategy for providing the Armed Forces of Ukraine the necessary training and military equipment will bring about the conditions for defeating Russia’s imperialist theory of victory. With Ukraine’s admirable fighting spirit and the transatlantic community’s unparalleled military-technological advantage and resources, Ukraine’s victory will come at a fraction of the cost in comparison to the alternative consequences," writes the Estonian Ministry of Defense.
Investments in the defense sector will strengthen NATO's authority
Estonia states that accelerated and extensive investments in the defense industrial production, crucial for Ukraine, will fundamentally contribute to strengthening NATO's authority, capacity, and readiness to provide containment and defense within and beyond the Euro-Atlantic region.
This military strategy will give way to a renewed and robust vision of peace and strength combined with a revitalized Ukraine, which is independent, sovereign, fully free, and thriving as a new member of the European Union and NATO.
"Ending Russia’s war in Ukraine with Ukraine’s victory and Russia’s defeat is the single possible first step towards this aim," they added at the end.
