In the Pokrovsk agglomeration, the Defence Forces’ operation to expand logistical corridors continues.

The 7th Rapid Response Corps of the Ukrainian Air Assault Forces reported this on Telegram.

The Russain forces has become bogged down in urban fighting for Pokrovsk and cannot capture the city by force. Therefore, the Russian forcess are trying to intensify propaganda and disinformation, spreading fabricated claims about the supposed “capture of Pokrovsk,” both openly and covertly.

The situation in the area of responsibility of the 7th Rapid Response Corps remains difficult. The Russian forces are actively assaulting the northern part of Pokrovsk. Ukrainian fighters continue to carry out their defensive tasks, holding back the Russian advance.

“In certain areas, the enemy is attempting to operate near logistical routes. However, in these zones, the rate at which the enemy is eliminated is higher than the rate at which it moves,” the Ukrainian military noted.

Logistics remain complicated but continue to function. The operation to expand logistical corridors is ongoing.

Despite intense fighting, over the past week the Defence Forces grouping in the Myrnohrad area has carried out several rotations of personnel.

Various components of the Defence Forces continue to be involved in the defence of the Pokrovsk agglomeration — the Air Assault Forces, assault units, UAV units, Special Operations Forces, the Security Service of Ukraine, the National Guard, and the National Police.
