Representative of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, Andriy Yusov, speaking about the concentration of Russian troops in the north and the possible threat of an attack on the Kharkiv and Sumy regions, assured that all the Russia's actions are known, and "necessary steps are being taken."
Commenting on information about the accumulation of troops by Russians in the north, and responding to the question of whether Ukrainians should be worried, Yusov said:
"We shouldn't worry. The position of the Main Intelligence Directorate on this matter is clear and regularly reported to the military-political leadership of the country. All necessary actions are being taken. If we publicly discuss assessments of enemy concentrations and movements, we will assist them in planning and implementing their further steps. What the enemy is doing is visible. Everything is documented, and necessary actions are being taken," Yusov said in a TV marathon broadcast.
He noted that over the past two years of full-scale Russian invasion, various measures have been taken regarding the formation of units and the accumulation of personnel.
"Once again, I emphasize that everything is known here, and necessary actions and decisions are being worked out on the part of Ukraine," stressed the Main Intelligence Directorate representative.
