The Occupation administration of Mariupol is applying new methods of collecting information about the residents who left in the city. For this purpose, the reception of applications regarding the damaged (destroyed) property during hostilities was organized.

To do this, the citizens must apply to housing reconstruction or compensation if it is impossible to rebuild. Also, it is necessary to list all homeowners and citizens registered there and provide information about their current staying.

Suppose citizens registered in the flat have left for Ukraine-controlled territory or abroad (except for the Russian Federation and the Republic of Belarus). In that case, the persons who submitted applications are summoned for questioning. In the future, it is demanded to establish contact with the people who left and try to force them to cooperate with the occupiers.

The process of rebuilding housing has not yet begun. There have been no cases of monetary compensation for destroyed housing that cannot be rebuilt.

The occupiers are demolishing the destroyed buildings, but the affected residents are not given options to relocate to other housing. At the same time, those who have lost their homes are being offered to relocate to the homes of local residents who have been forced to leave through the hostilities.

The situation with water and gas supply in the city remains difficult.
