Russia is preparing for tomorrow, August 19, a provocation at the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant.

This was stated in the Main Directorate of Intelligence of Ukraine.

"The occupiers announced an unexpected "day off" at the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant. On August 19, only operational personnel will be at the ZNPP. All other employees will be denied entry. It is also known that representatives of Rosatom, who have recently been constantly at the plant, urgently left the territory facility," the GUR said.

It is also noted that at the same time, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation announced the alleged preparation of a "terrorist attack" by the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The report says that during a visit to Ukraine by UN Secretary-General António Guterres, a resonant provocation is being prepared to accuse the Russian Federation of an artificial disaster. The Russians, as expected, accuse the Ukrainian authorities of organizing the attack.

"According to the available information, it becomes clear that after the large-scale shelling of the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant, the occupiers can "raise the stakes" and arrange a real terrorist attack at Europe's largest nuclear facility."

In addition, to coincide with the stay of the UN Secretary-General in Ukraine," the HUR notes.
