On the Independence Day of Ukraine, the occupiers are planning to hold a demonstrative "trial" over the captured defenders of Azovstal in temporarily occupied Mariupol.

This was reported by the Main Directorate of Intelligence of Ukraine in Telegram.

The invaders are urgently refurbishing the surviving premises of the Mariupol Philharmonic. On the stage, the Russians are mounting iron cages in which they will keep the defenders.

Several new temporary structures are also being erected next to the premises.

To add a kind of 'legitimacy' to this action, the occupiers are preparing specially trained 'witnesses' and bringing in representatives of the Russian 'media'.

According to one of the possible scenarios, the Russians can launch a targeted missile attack on the premises. In this case, the invaders will traditionally try to shift the blame for the crime committed to Ukraine.
