The Kremlin's regime plans to simulate holding fake elections in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine in September 2023. The goal is an attempt to legitimize the occupation and the war crimes committed by the Russian army. All those involved in the illegal conduct of the elections will be held accountable according to the legislation of Ukraine and the norms of international law, as has been done previously with traitors and collaborators.
We urge the citizens of Ukraine in the temporarily occupied territories to continue providing information regarding the pseudo-elections.
