Ukrainian military intelligence is in dialogue with several other Russian pilots. This was subtly hinted at by the Chief of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, Lieutenant General Kyrylo Budanov, while commenting on the successful special operation "Sinytsia" during a national telethon.
According to him, the actions of Russian pilot Kuzminov, who defected to Ukraine with the Russian Mi-8 helicopter, could serve as an example for other Russian pilots, including those with whom dialogues are still ongoing.
"We have ongoing communication with several other individuals, and it continues. What happened will simply add confidence to those who are still hesitating," said Kyrylo Budanov.
The Chief of the Ukrainian Main Intelligence Directorate added that after the "Sinytsia" special operation, the higher military and political leadership of the aggressor state is "saddened."
As a result, the Russian Federal Security Service has significantly increased its activity, but, according to Kyrylo Budanov, this will not yield any results for them.
