On the night of April 4, 2025 (starting at 9:30 p.m. on April 3), the Russian forces launched 78 strike UAVs of the Shahed type and various decoy drones from the directions of Bryansk, Millerovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk, and Kursk in Russia.
The aerial attack was repelled by Ukraine’s air defense missile forces, electronic warfare units, and mobile fire groups of the Defense Forces.
As of 8:30 a.m., 42 Shahed-type strike UAVs (and other drone types) had been confirmed shot down over the north, east, and center of the country.
22 decoy drones were lost by location tracking but caused no damage.
As a result of the Russian attack, Kharkiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Kyiv, and Zaporizhzhia regions suffered damage.
