The head of the Joint Coordination Press Center for the Defense Forces in the south of Ukraine, Captain 1st Rank Natalia Humenyuk, commented on the situation regarding the demining of the Black Sea's waters and emphasized that this issue concerns all countries with access to the water. This information was reported on the Espreso TV channel.

"More than 20 vessels have already used this humanitarian corridor in the Black Sea, and there have been no safety incidents, except for the moments when you heard about incidents in Romanian waters. However, there have been no such incidents in the territorial waters of Ukraine," she noted.

Humenyuk added that what is happening in the territorial waters of other states underscores the fact that the danger of the Black Sea and the mining of the Black Sea, which Russia initiated against Ukraine's intentions, concerns all nations with access to the water.

"Directly, even the detection of underwater mines, which was recorded during the period of full-scale invasion in Georgia, Turkey, Romania, and Bulgaria, is an understanding for everyone that securing the Black Sea should not be the sole responsibility of Ukraine. Currently, we are ensuring the security of the humanitarian corridor sector, and we are doing quite well at it," emphasized the head of the Joint Coordination Press Center for the Defense Forces in the south of Ukraine.
