The Danish Emergency Management Agency has delivered 18 rescue lifts to Ukraine as part of its civil protection assistance.
They were delivered in four batches from June to October.
Thanks to this support, the State Emergency Service of Ukraine (SES) received 45-meter rescue lifts worth a total of 130 million Danish kroner.
The last batch of seven lifts from Denmark arrived in Ukraine last week.
The rescue lifts will be transferred to regional emergency service departments, where they can significantly enhance capabilities for protecting civilians and critical infrastructure.
The lifts will be used to rescue people from buildings after explosions and to extinguish fires in high-rise buildings and other tall structures, noted the Danish Emergency Management Agency.
