Ukrainians call on the world to change the addresses of Russian embassies and consulates with the streets named after Ukraine
On March 28, the Ukraine Street campaign was launched in 53 cities in 34 countries. Local residents are asked to support the renaming of streets with Russian embassies and consulates on the streets named after Ukraine.
Sign a petition for your city and support Ukraine â the homeland of people with unyielding, indomitable spirit and free will!
Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba noted that such a renaming of streets is part of Russia's isolation and "deputization" of the world.
"Russians will have to literally read the name "Ukraine" everywhere and always. It is a daily reminder that Ukraine is a sovereign state that will always win and exist, no matter how hard Russia tries to deny our right to exist. â
Dmytro Kuleba
Anyone can sign a petition to rename the streets where the embassies and consulates of the aggressor state are located. Ukrainians are urged to invite their relatives and friends abroad to sign the petition.
How people from other countries can join the campaign:
- find a link to a petition for your city on uastreet.world and sign it, or ask the organizers to create a new petition if the city is not on the list;
- share the petition with friends and the local community;
- to directly address the municipality and local deputies with the request to rename street.
