After Ukraine and Georgia join NATO, the Black Sea should become a NATO sea, like the Baltic Sea.

This was reported by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dmytro Kuleba, during the Second Black Sea Security Conference of the International Crimean Platform.

"It is important to have a vision and strategy, to show persistence in joint actions to achieve common goals. The Black Sea should become a sea of NATO, peace, and stability. This is what happened with the Baltic Sea when Finland and Sweden joined the Alliance. Security in the entire region was strengthened," Kuleba said.

The Minister noted that after Ukraine and Georgia join NATO, the Black Sea will follow the example of the Baltic Sea. He called it a strategic goal that the Alliance and the Euro-Atlantic community should strive for.

Russian terrorists use the Black and Azov Seas for their military purposes. The Azov Sea is currently under full control of the enemy. After the liberation of Snake (Zmiinyi) Island, the dominance of Russians in the Black Sea has decreased.
