Epicentr K will launch trading of agricultural products in July 2025 and is considering expanding its land bank in two regions.

This was announced by Svetlana Nikityuk, head of the agricultural division of Epicentr K, in an interview with Interfax-Ukraine.

“Starting in July, our company will launch trading. After launching trading, we will use our elevators not only for storage but also for transshipment of third-party grain and grain procurement,” she said.

The company’s elevator hub is designed for simultaneous storage of 1.8 million tons. Despite underutilization of capacities across Ukraine last season, the company does not plan to reduce its capacity.

Svetlana Nikityuk also noted that the company’s land bank fluctuates around 168,000 hectares.

“As for expansion — we are interested in lands in regions where the company is present. Primarily, these are Khmelnytskyi and Vinnytsia regions. We are searching, evaluating, and open to negotiations. Currently, our priority is ownership rights. However, we can also consider purchasing lease rights,” she said.

LLC Epicentr K, which includes Epicentr Agro, was established in 2003 and opened its first hypermarket in Kyiv in December of the same year. It operates a network of retail centers under the same name throughout Ukraine. Since 2016, it has been developing its agricultural business segment. The company cultivates over 160,000 hectares of land in Vinnytsia, Khmelnytskyi, Ternopil, Zhytomyr, Cherkasy, and Kyiv regions. The group includes 20 livestock farms and 15 elevator complexes.
