Finland does not impose any restrictions on Ukraine regarding the use of the transferred weaponry.
This was reported by the Finnish publication Yle, citing the leadership of the parliamentary defense committee and the Ministry of Defense of the country.
"As far as I know, Finland has not imposed such restrictions, and Ukraine should have the right to use this weapons against military targets, including on Russian territory," said Jukka Kopra, chairman of the parliamentary defense committee, in an interview with Yle.
This is because Finland, at least officially, has not provided Ukraine with weapons that could be used to strike Russian territory.
However, the country has supplied armored vehicles and other weaponry that could be used for attacks on Russian territory.
Mikko Savola, Deputy Chairman of the Defense Committee, stated that Finnish weapons could be used on Russian territory.
The Finnish Ministry of Defense has announced that the country has not imposed any restrictions on the use of assistance sent to Ukraine.
At the same time, the Finnish Ministry of Defense and the parliamentary defense committee are calling on Germany to transfer Taurus cruise missiles to Ukraine.
