On the night of April 3 to 4, Russian forces launched a massive drone attack on Ukraine. At least Kharkiv, Dnipro, and Zaporizhzhia regions were affected by the attack and its consequences.

Kharkiv

Starting at 21:58, explosions were heard in Kharkiv. Mayor Ihor Terekhov reported at least two strikes by Shahed drones in the Novobavarskyi district of the city. Specifically, a two-story building was hit (causing a fire), and a multi-story building was also struck.

"As a result of the enemy's strike, the roof of a high-rise building caught fire over an area of 500 m², as well as seven cars and two apartments with a total area of 70 m²," reported the head of Kharkiv Oblast State Administration, Oleh Syniehubov.

As of 00:40, it was known that 32 people were injured (including one child), and two people were killed. Additionally, three more people may be under the rubble (later, Terekhov clarified that rescuers had extracted fragments of a third body).

"On the evening of April 3, Russian drones attacked one of Kharkiv's districts. As a result of strikes on residential buildings and an administrative building, four fire outbreaks occurred, covering over 600 square meters," the report states.

It also added that the bodies of two deceased individuals were retrieved from the rubble. A total of 32 people were injured, including one child.

 

 

Dnipro

The head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration confirmed this night that the region is under a massive "Shahed" drone attack. In particular, loud explosions were heard in Dnipro and Kamianske.

"Fires broke out in the regional center. A building is on fire in one of the districts. Administrative buildings were damaged. We are clarifying the information. Stay in safe places!" he wrote at 00:53.

A little later, he added that, according to preliminary data, two people were injured in Dnipro. They received assistance on-site. Updated at 01:44.

"Three people are injured in Dnipro so far. A 66-year-old woman has been hospitalized in moderate condition. Medical assistance has been provided to all," the head of the Regional Military Administration reported.

 

Zaporizhzhia and Zaporizhzhia Region

At 22:57, explosions were heard in the Zaporizhzhia region. Later, several explosions were heard in different areas of Zaporizhzhia.

At 23:43, the head of the Regional Military Administration, Ivan Fedorov, reported that the Russian forces launched at least 7 drones at Zaporizhzhia and the Zaporizhzhia district. As a result of the attack, a warehouse building was damaged, and a non-residential building caught fire.

As of 01:12, it was reported that a 63-year-old man was injured in the attack. Medical assistance is being provided to him.

"On the night of April 4, Russian forces attacked the Zaporizhzhia district with strike drones. One of the occupiers' drones caused a fire in a store covering 100 square meters. The shockwave damaged nearby buildings and transport. The fire has been extinguished," the report states.

The State Emergency Service (SES) also confirmed the information from the head of the Regional Military Administration that the 63-year-old man was injured in the shelling and received medical help.

 

 

Kyiv Region

As of 01:35, it became known that the Russian forces attack also caused damage in the Kyiv region. In addition, at least one person was injured.

"As a result of the enemy UAV attack in the Brovary district, a person was injured. The man was hospitalized in a local hospital. He has preliminary injuries to his leg and neck. All necessary medical assistance is being provided," said the head of the Regional Military Administration, Mykola Kalashnyk.

He also reported that a fire broke out involving 4 trucks and one passenger car in a parking area. The fire has been extinguished. Additionally, as a result of debris from downed Russian targets, a fire occurred in a car dealership building. Preliminary reports indicate that 5 cars were damaged. The fire was also extinguished.
