First Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Economy of Ukraine Yulia Svyrydenko held talks with her Turkish counterpart - Minister of Trade of the Republic of Turkey Mehmet MuÅ on further cooperation between Ukraine and Turkey.
The key topics of discussion were:
- Resumption of maritime supplies of products from Ukraine to Turkey and the development of a number of alternative transportation routes by sea.
- Supply of Turkish equipment for processing of agricultural products to Ukraine. Ukrainian companies need turnkey technological equipment and Turkey can be one of the important suppliers and provide export financing for the supply of equipment to Ukrainian customers.
- Insurance of supply of toll raw materials to Ukraine for processing. The Ministry of Economy is working to restore the production chains for the Turkish companies could supply to Ukraine with their domestic raw materials for processing and further export or sale in the domestic markets of both Ukraine and Turkey.
- Supply of oil products to Ukraine. We continue to help Ukrainian importers reorient their supply channels from russia and belarus. The Turkish side will consider allocating additional volumes for Ukraine.
Turkey continues to support the state sovereignty of Ukraine and to be an important geopolitical and trade partner of our state.
