The head of the OVA informed the French parliamentarian about the challenges the region faces daily due to Russian aggression, including constant shelling, drone attacks, and destruction of civilian infrastructure. During the meeting, key areas of cooperation were outlined, where France's experience could be decisive.
The discussion started with green energy projects, including the installation of solar panels on social and critical infrastructure facilities. The possibility of involving mobile environmental laboratories and conducting joint research to assess the impact of war on the environment was also considered.
Particular attention was paid to the issue of the destruction debris. French companies have significant experience in recycling and eco-construction. The creation of a waste recycling station, would allow the debris to be converted into materials for the reconstruction of roads, public buildings and shelters.
Thank you to Frederic Petit for his visit and willingness to defend the interests of the Kherson region in the French parliament. We appreciate this support and his sincere desire to help our frontline region.
Said Oleksandr Prokudin.
