The fourth training session for Ukrainian military personnel on operating the Patriot air defense system has been completed in Germany.
This was reported on Tuesday, November 5, by the German Luftwaffe’s press service on social media.
These air defense systems are being provided to the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as part of military assistance from Western countries, including Germany.
After completing training in Germany, Ukrainian servicemen will be able to independently operate the Patriot systems, using them to intercept Russian aerial threats such as aircraft, cruise missiles, drones, and helicopters. For security reasons, the German side has not disclosed the number of Ukrainian military personnel who have undergone this training.
The German Air Force announced the start of the fourth training group for Ukrainians on the Patriot air defense system in the second half of August this year.
