Germany is ready to accept Ukrainian children for treatment in the coming days following the barbaric shelling of the Kyiv hospital Okhmatdyt.
This was announced on social media by German Health Minister Karl Lauterbach after a phone call with Ukraine's Minister of Health Viktor Liashko.
"I promised Minister Viktor Liashko that Germany will accept sick children in need of help at any time," he wrote. The German minister informed that a rescue flight will depart as early as Wednesday.
"Putin, with his deliberate attack on a children's hospital, once again showed that he is a war criminal," emphasized Lauterbach. German Chancellor Olaf Scholz reposted this message and added, "Germany stands firmly with the Ukrainians. Especially in these difficult times."
