Germany will be able to transfer 10,000 artillery munitions to Ukraine in the coming days, as previously announced as part of a military aid package.

This was announced by the head of the situation center for Ukraine at the German Ministry of Defense, Christian Froehding, according to Deutsche Welle.

According to him, Berlin has decided to supply munitions to Ukraine in three stages.

"At the first stage - in the coming days - Germany will transfer 10,000 shells to Kyiv," he said.

Next, Germany will participate in the Czech initiative to purchase ammunition for the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

And for the long term, Germany has concluded a bilateral agreement to supply Ukraine with an additional 100,000 shells - starting from approximately the fourth quarter of 2024.
