The politicians arrived to reaffirm their unconditional support for the sovereignty and independence of Ukraine from the entire European Union UNIAN report.
The Prime Ministers of Poland, the Czech Republic and Slovenia met in Kyiv. Also in the capital of Ukraine is the leader of the Polish ruling party Law and Justice, Yaroslav Kaczynski.
The head of the Polish government, Mateusz Morawiecki, showed a photo of the meeting on his Twitter page.
"It is here, in war-torn Kyiv, that history is made. It is here that freedom fights against a world of tyranny. It is here that the future of each of us hangs in the balance. The EU supports Ukraine, which can count on the help of its friends - this is the message we brought to Kyiv today" he wrote.
The delegation included Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki, Deputy Prime Minister Jaroslav Kaczynski, Czech Prime Minister Petr Fiala and Slovenian Prime Minister Janez Jansa.
As UNIAN reported earlier, politicians will meet with Prime Minister Denis Shmigal and President Volodymyr Zelensky in Kyiv. They went to the capital to reaffirm their unconditional support for the sovereignty and independence of Ukraine from the entire European Union.
The Polish government clarified that the trip was organized in consultation with the President of the European Council, Charles Michel, and the President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen.
"The purpose of the visit is to confirm the unconditional support of the entire European Union for the sovereignty and independence of Ukraine and to present a broad package of support to the Ukrainian state and society."
