The International Committee of the Red Cross, which has access to Mariupol, distributes food there but does not contribute to improving the catastrophic situation in medicine and stopping crimes against civilians.
This was stated by the adviser to the mayor of Mariupol Petr Andryushchenko.
âStrange things. The International Red Cross calmly ends up in Mariupol and issues humanitarian aid in different parts of the city. At the same time, it does not react at all either to the catastrophic situation in medicine (apparently, we somehow understand the meaning of the Red Cross in some other way?), nor to the removal of children from Mariupol, not to arrests and illegal detention of civilians during filtration procedures. It only feeds," he notes.
Andryushchenko accused the ICRC of spending money received as donations along with the Russian invaders.
"An essentially wonderful scheme - collect millions of donations and spend them together with the occupier. Mariupol, like no one else, proved the complete crisis and the failure of this international institution," he writes.
After the terrorist attack arranged by the Russians, during which more than 50 Ukrainian defenders were killed in the colony in the occupied Yelenovka, the International Committee of the Red Cross stated that they allegedly did not guarantee the safety of Ukrainian prisoners of war who were leaving Azovstal.
The Office of the President stated that international organizations, the International Committee of the Red Cross, are silent when Russia tortures and kills Ukrainian prisoners.
