In Marhanets, Dnipropetrovsk region, a Russian drone hit a bus carrying factory workers on their way to work — 9 dead, 30 injured.
This was reported on Telegram by the head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, Serhii Lysak.
"The aggressor struck Marhanets with a kamikaze drone. According to preliminary information, 7 people were killed. Another 6 were injured," he wrote.
The head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Council, Mykola Lukashuk, provided more details.
"The Russians attacked a bus with factory workers who were on their way to work in Marhanets. A kamikaze drone strike on civilians. There are many dead and injured," he wrote.
Later, Lysak provided updated figures on the casualties.
"The enemy attack claimed 9 lives. My condolences to the families and loved ones. The number of injured continues to rise. As of now, there are 30," the post said.
