The State Bureau of Investigations, together with the local police in Spain, conducted searches in the Spanish real estate of the former military commissar of Odessa, Yevhen Borysov.

They seized and arrested a villa and office space. According to the investigation, Borysov purchased the real estate in the Spanish city of Marbella in the province of Malaga.

This includes a house worth over 4 million euros, with a total area of 857 square meters on a land plot of 1530 square meters, acquired in December 2022 in the name of Borysov's mother. Additionally, an office space worth over 500,000 euros, with a total area of 223.9 square meters, was purchased by the military commissar and his wife in February 2023.

On December 13, 2023, based on the State Bureau of Investigations' request for international legal assistance, the National Police of the Kingdom of Spain, with the participation of the employees of the Main Investigative Department of the State Bureau of Investigations, conducted searches in the acquired villa and office space belonging to the relatives of the military commissar.

During the search, documents confirming the right to ownership and disposal of the property by Borysov's family members were seized. As a result, the relevant authorities in Spain arrested this real estate.
