In March, the producer price index for industrial products stood at 0.7%, with a year-on-year increase of 51.9%. This data was released by Ukraine's State Statistics Service.

According to the State Statistics, the producer price index for industrial products (a measure of the average change in wholesale prices for raw materials, materials, and intermediate goods) was 0.7% in March, compared to 1.1% in February.

At the same time, industrial inflation accelerated to 51.9% year-on-year. In February 2025 compared to February 2024, this figure was 37%.

The main factor in the slowdown of industrial inflation last month was the prices for mining industry products, which decreased by 0.4% compared to February, as well as oil and gas (-1.3%) and pharmaceutical products (-5.7%).

At the same time, energy prices (electricity, gas, steam, and air conditioning supply) increased by 206.4% year-on-year, which significantly influenced the overall industrial inflation rate.
