Russian forces have intensified their actions along the border line in the area of responsibility of the Joint Forces Group, attempting to identify weak points in the defense and increasing airstrikes.
This was stated on ЕМ by Viktor Trehubov, Head of the Communications Directorate of the Joint Forces Group.
“First and foremost, the Lyman direction remains active for us, as well as the Kupiansk direction, Vovchansk and its surroundings. The Russians are actively probing the border along its entire length, trying to find weak spots in Ukrainian defenses along the border — both in Sumy region within our area of responsibility and in Kharkiv region,” Trehubov said.
According to him, attempts by the enemy to cross the border are also being recorded in directions that had previously been less active, such as the area of Dehtiarne north of Kharkiv.
The Joint Forces spokesperson added that Russian troops “are maintaining constant pressure along the entire Ukrainian defensive line, while also actively using various long-range weapons.”
He noted that the enemy is striking Kharkiv and border settlements.
“Kharkiv is being hit quite systematically, and guided aerial bombs are also actively being dropped on border settlements and areas where our forces are located — roughly around a dozen strikes on each direction,” Trehubov emphasized.
