On the evening of May 2, Kharkiv came under a massive drone attack by Russian forces – casualties were reported, and a residential building was damaged.

21:48 – Information emerged about Russian drone strikes in two districts of Kharkiv, according to the mayor.
21:55 – A series of explosions occurred in various parts of the city, wrote head of the regional administration Oleh Syniehubov.
22:06 – Preliminary reports indicated the fall of Russian drones in the Slobidskyi district, according to the regional governor.
22:09 – Due to the attack, a residential building was damaged, and nearby cars caught fire. Information on casualties is being clarified, said Terekhov.
22:10 – Preliminary data indicated three people were injured in Kharkiv. Medical personnel were providing all necessary assistance, reported Syniehubov.
22:18 – The number of injured rose to six.
“Emergency medical personnel are working at the drone strike sites, providing aid to the injured,” the regional governor wrote.
22:27 – Syniehubov clarified that the building and the cars damaged in the Russian attack were located in the Saltivskyi district.
Specialists from the State Emergency Service and medical teams are working at the impact sites.
22:37 – The number of injured rose to 12. Seventeen impacts were recorded in the city, and fires broke out at the strike sites, Terekhov wrote.

23:03 – The number of injured rose to 36, with seven hospitalized, the mayor added.
23:38 – Among the injured in Kharkiv is an 11-year-old child. In total, 43 people were injured, 8 of whom were hospitalized.
According to updated data, the strikes hit 12 locations across four districts of the city.
