The request by the Economic Security Bureaus detective for applying preventive detention to Kolomoisky was partially granted.

He has been ordered into detention for a period of 60 days, until October 31 inclusive. The judge ruled to take him into custody in the courtroom.

Simultaneously, the bail amount has been set at 190,000 times the minimum wage for able-bodied individuals, or 509,960,000 hryvnias.

After the decision was announced, the prosecutor declined to comment. Kolomoisky himself remained silent.

Later, Kolomoisky's defense lawyer, Alexander Lisak, told UP in a comment that they would appeal the decision regarding the preventive measure.

"We are not currently discussing the issue of posting bail. We will wait for the full court decision. And, of course, we will file an appeal," he said.
