In Kryvyi Rih, the number of people injured in a combined attack has risen to 11, including three children.
This was reported on Telegram by the head of the Kryvyi Rih Defense Council, Oleksandr Vilkul.
“There was a combined missile and drone attack on our city. The residential sector and infrastructure facilities were hit. Emergency rescue operations are ongoing at several locations simultaneously. According to preliminary information, 11 people were injured, including three children,” he wrote.
Vilkul clarified that eight people were taken to hospitals, including a 1.5-year-old boy. The condition of all is moderate, and doctors are providing them with all necessary care. Two children, aged 8 and 10, are also in moderate condition and were transported by ambulance to a children’s hospital.
“A two-story residential building was severely damaged, as well as houses in the private sector, administrative buildings, infrastructure facilities, and a cultural institution. About 10,000 residents are without electricity. We are trying to restart large boiler plants, but the temperature of the heating medium will be lower,” Vilkul added.
The city water utility system has partially switched to generators. Authorities assure that water supply will continue, but pressure will be lower. All emergency and municipal services are working on-site.
