Ukraine is preparing to hold the Defense Industries Forum this autumn to showcase its manufacturing capabilities and attract defense enterprises from partner countries for cooperation.
Today Ukraine has confirmation of participation from 165 defense industry companies from over two dozen countries worldwide.
This was announced by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dmytro Kuleba.
"165 defense industry companies from 26 countries have already confirmed their participation in our Defense Industries Forum. It will serve as a catalyst for joint production and cooperation to strengthen Ukraine and our partners," Kuleba stated, adding that he is working on the organization together with the Minister of Defense, Rustem Umerov, and the Minister for Strategic Industries, Oleksandr Kamishin.
The intention to hold the Defense Industries Forum in Ukraine was announced by President Volodymyr Zelensky in mid-August.
At the beginning of September, Dmytro Kuleba mentioned that the event is scheduled to take place in Kyiv "in a few weeks."
