The head of the Main Intelligence Directorate, Kyrylo Budanov, said that since February 24, no traitor had been found inside the Main Directorate of Intelligence.

The major general spoke about this in an interview with Liga.net. He noted that there were more Ukrainian agents on the territory of the Russian Federation.

"We never found a single traitor. Our internal security is constantly working. Examples of inappropriate attitudes to, let's say, the preservation of state secrets - there are all sorts of cases. But in most cases, this is official negligence when someone can send it by messenger. And it becomes the property of the enemy, who intercepts this signal. Unfortunately, such cases do happen. This is a common problem for all our authorities," Budanov said.

The head of intelligence also added that the number of Ukrainian spies who have access to any information has increased in Russia.

"At completely different levels, this number of people has increased, and with it, our access to information of various levels: from socio-political to purely military issues," Budanov said.
