Latvia is set to send its largest shipment of drones to Ukraine, with 1,400 units from Latvian manufacturers. This was announced by Latvian Defense Minister Andris Spruds on Twitter.
"This concludes the Ministry of Defense's procurement of over 2,700 drones from Latvian industry for Ukraine," the minister stated.
In total, within the framework of the International Drone Coalition, Latvia has already supplied Ukraine with 3,000 combat drones of various types.
Spruds emphasized that Latvia will continue to support Ukraine until victory.
This year, Ukraine's international partners established a drone coalition to support Ukrainian forces in their fight against Russian forces. The initiative is led by the United Kingdom and Latvia.
