Latvian Prime Minister Evika Silina arrived in Ukraine for a working visit. Her visit will last until September 13.
This was reported by the Latvian government press service.
During her trip, Silina will hold meetings with Ukrainian officials and participate in discussions on further military, political, humanitarian, and financial support for Ukraine, as well as its path to joining the European Union and NATO.
The Latvian Prime Minister emphasized the importance of supporting the Ukrainian people, who "heroically and selflessly defend themselves from evil," protecting not only their own land but also European values and security. Latvia, she stated, clearly and steadfastly supports Ukraine in its fight against the aggressor.
Silina also posted a video of her arrival in Ukraine’s capital on Twitter.
"Morning in Kyiv. Latvia will stand with the Ukrainian people until their victory and will always support Ukraine on its path to the European Union and NATO! Glory to Ukraine!" she wrote.
